COVID UPDATE

While the pandemic is not over, Palo Alto’s Office of Emergency Services (OES) feels that systems, treatment capabilities, and public awareness are all in place to help us navigate this challenging time. Thank you to the wonderful Volunteers who helped during the worst of this crisis and please keep building those neighbor to neighbor connections.

HOUSING FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED IT

PAN has endorsed Alternative M as brought forth by two members of the NVCAP Working Group. Alternative M helps solve one of Palo Alto’s most pressing housing needs. Palo Alto has historically met or exceeded production of new homes for wealthy people (as defined by ABAG) . Where Palo Alto fails is in providing housing for the missing middle and families earning 60% and below the Area Median Income of $120,000 /year. Alt M fills that gap!
